Ducks
Ducks require much the same care as chickens and also lay delicious eggs. They require a source of water for bathing, so they should be kept separately from hens if a deep pool is provided. If a shallow pool is provided, they can be kept together with ducks. They will not lay eggs in a nesting box as chickens will. Eggs are usually very large with thick shells, and lots of flavor. Ducklings are not sexed, but males do not crow or make additional noise as male chickens will.
